I can’t figure out how to sort the references listed after each other in the text by both date and author. Under ‘In text citation order’ I have either the choice of sorting by date or sorting by author. It must be possible to combine them, cause I have seen it done the right way.
(I am using version 11).

As you’ve mentioned, the citation sorting options are found on the “Generate Bibliography…” window. The two citation sorts that you have available is ‘Citation Order’, or by ‘Author’, ‘Year’, then by ‘Title’.
