I have a MacBook with 2GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive running Leopard and Word 04 Version 11.5.0 for Mac. Endnote X.0.2 (Bld 2007) is running painfully slow whenever I try to edit a citation. I turned off instant formatting, but it hasn’t speeded up the 90 to 120 seconds it takes to open the edit citation window and then to add a page number or whatever it is I’m modifying. What can I do to speed things up?
