Sync Reset EndNoteWeb - can't sync, can't reset

I followed the sync reset instructions found on this forum (#!resetLocalSync) but after clicking sync the desktop app says ‘authorizing’ and then does nothing.  I can’t type into the ‘sync this endnote library’ box under preferences, and I notice it keeps defaulting to a path that no longer exists.

Suggestions?  I’d like to delete the Endnote preferences but it’s not clear to me where to find them.

I found the Endnote prefs and deleted them but that did not resolve the stalled sync problem.

Any update on this one? I’m having the same trouble, clicking on Sync would only trigger “Authorizing”, and then stopping right after, without getting any error message. Restarting computer did not help. Any idea?
