I wanted to update my EndNote X4. I started it from the - help - EndNote program updates menu.
It was almost done when the ‘File in Use’ message showed up. I closed all applications but couldn’t finish the setup. The message was the same. I restarted my comp and tried it again; nothing has changed. What should I do?

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended that you use Program Updates. Close all programs and turn off any background software, such as virus protection software. From within EndNote, choose “EndNote Program Updates” from the “Help” menu and follow the on-screen prompts.
Alternatively you can download the update (please note that this is a .zip file that contains the .msp installer). To run this installer open the ZIP file and then double-click the MSP file to update your version of EndNote X4.
