I updated to Endnote 7.7.1 today and now CWYW does not show up in Word (version 15.27 Mac) because it cannot load the add-in.
When I open Word it says
"Your add-in isn’t compatible with this version of Word. Please contact the add-in provider for an update. (EndNote CWYW Word 2016.bundle)."
I have had the exact same problem in the past after an operating system update.
What I did then was to simply download a new add-in and it did the job. I tried the same but it did not fix the problem.
Is the new plug in not out yet?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about that! Can you try the following?
-Close Word and open EndNote. Click the EndNote X7 menu/customizer.
-In customizer, uncheck the CWYW add in, click next until its done.
-Re-run customizer, and re-check the CWYW add in.
If this does not fix the problem, please give us a call here at support, 1-800-336-4474, option 4.
I have the same problem as Bettina. Your suggestion did not work for me. Is there an Australian support #, or alternatively a way to set up a chat session?

ALso if I manually put the CWYW plug in into the Word startup folder I get the error upon Word launch:
“Your add-in isn’t compatible with this version of Word. Please contact the add-in provider for an update.
OK I’m contacting the provider. What do I do next?
