Using a defined word instead of Short Title

Hello everybody,

I am a new user of EndNote X4.

I would like Endnote to use a word defined by me (op. cit, which stands for “opus citatum” to be precise) instead of Short Title when only one work of one author is citied. I use my own style and footnotes.

This is an example of my current footnotes:

A. Lijphart, Comparative Politics and the Comparative Method, “The American Political Science Review” 1971, vol. 65, no 3, s. 76.
J. K. Birnir, Where Are the Disgruntled Voters?, “Party Politics” 2010, vol. 16, no 1.
A. Lijphart, Comparative Politics…, s. 76.

I would like achieve that effect:

A. Lijphart, Comparative Politics and the Comparative Method, “The American Political Science Review” 1971, vol. 65, no 3, s. 76.
J. K. Birnir, Where Are the Disgruntled Voters?, “Party Politics” 2010, vol. 16, no 1.
A. Lijphart, op. cit., s. 76.

And the other thing. I have in my style colon used and Endnote seems to drop it. So a footnote doesn’t look like it should. Why is that?

My style for a edited book

Notice colon in [w:]

Author, Title, [w:] Book Title, red. Editor, |wyd. Edition, |City Year |, s. Cited Pages|.

Thanks in advance,

Mike
