What reference type to use for protocol

Says i have a WHO protocol, which i wanna add in to my library manually. What type of reference should i choose? Manuscript?

And for its author, should i put WHO or the name of the person who prepare it?

It’s all dependent on how you are going to use the reference in your manuscript or writing, using Endnote’s function.

There is a pull down menu to choose from reference type, and you can see default field names. Just take a look at some of them, and choose the one that fits to your needs. First, you need to make your “needs” clear, before this question.

Indeed the is a pull down menu, but i dunno which one to choose. None of them seems to suit the category “protocol”. I m not sure of what do u mean by “need”, but I’ll b conducting my experiment following the instruction of protocol. It is some sort of handout

What Myoshigi means, is you need to tell us how the protocol will be referenced.  What items in what order, before we can be of much help in choosing or redesigning a reference type.  what do you mean, it is some kind of handout?

Sorry, I don’t understand why you need to enter the protocol into Endnote to conduct experiment. Endnote is basically bibliography formatting tool. Why are you using Endnote and what’s the purpose? That’s what we are asking before addressing your question.
