Is there a way to browse the online search records list without adding all the records to my library? It is very frustrating to have to clean out my library after every search. Am I missing something?

I’m having the same problem, on a new machine running Lion and X4.0.2. WHether I search new records online via library mode or online mode, makes no difference: I end up with all in the library, which then have to be deleted.
Very puzzling behavior, didn’t happen in my previous installation (other machine running 10.6.8)
If that is true, then there is a bug you should report directly to tech support.
We’re unable to reproduce this behavior. Does the discard prompt appear for you? If it appears, and you discard the references is the action ignored?
