Is there a way to automatically add the current number of citations to a reference using ISI Web of Science interface?
I have noticed that using the Web of Science online search function will add the number of citations in the display field “Notes”. However, there is also other items in this list (e.g. Cited References Count). Is there a way to automatically add only the number of citations (“Times Cited”) and also keep this field automatically updated over time? I would need this function to display a bibliography that includes the number of citations that a respective paper has reveived up to date.
If this shouldn’t be possible, can one manually add the number of citations to a given reference? I have tried to use the custom display fields, but I haven’t managed to add any data there.
