An unknown error occurred when inserting citation

Endnote X7 stopped working after a word update around a month ago so using endnote online at the moment. Trying to insert a citation and ‘an unknown error occurred’ message pops up and the citation then inserts itself as endnote text where the cursor is (no number).

Any help would be very much appreciated.
