I have just loaded my endnote library on to a new laptop (both used windows 10). I am using the Vancouver style referencing, however, when I select to change some references to Author (year) in my document I am having problems.
On one of these it has changed to Author (1) and the other one is Author (second author name).
Any suggestions?

Probably not without seeing the document itself? Can you zip it up and attach it to a reply message?
Endnote’s “Vancouver” output style formats in-text citations as: Author (Bibliography Number) – refer to the attached image. The “Year” field would need to be added to the template, however, it’s unclear how the output should appear given that both the Year field and bibliography number would be encased in parentheses which seems odd. Can you provide an example of how the in-text citation should appear?
