Can see the endnote icon in my word documents and unable to insert citation from library

Hi! A few days ago endnote was working fine in my word documents and suddently i cannot see the endnote icon in my word documents. When I go to my library I still can get references in the library from journals but the icon to insert citation into word is inactive. I have no clue how to solve this issue.
