Can't save edited style files.

I am unable to save changes to edited style files. I have EndnoteX3.0.1 (Windows), Windows XP, on a Dell Latitude D430. When I try to save  my edits, I get a “Save As” box, it addes “Copy” after the name, but it still doesn’t save it. Another “Copy” is added each time I retry to save the changes, till I give up and exit without saving.

I notice that the styles folder keeps coming up with “read only” checked. I uncheck it, but it reverts back. Maybe this is the problem.

Thanks, this did it! What would we do with out spare time if Endnote didn’t have these weird glitches?
