I am having trouble with EndNote auto-correcting certain capital letters in my reference list. Some of my journal titles refer to YouTube, which is supposed to be written as “YouTube.” EndNote keeps “correcting” this for me by making it “Youtube.” I’ve also run into this issue when I cite articles with acronyms. I am citing an article about LGBTQ adolescents and EndNote keeps making it “Lgbtq.” Does anyone know of a way to fix this?
did you take a look at the “Spell Check” option in the preferences?
There’s at least the option to ignore all-caps words like LGBTQ and for mixed cases like YouTube.
There is an option in Endnote Edit menu> preferences >change case so you can add things like this.
