Citation References being defaced in Document

I am using Endnote X2.  When I insert a reference into a Word 2007 document, the citation reference text does is not shown and the dates for other references are removed. A bigliogrophy is generated at the end of the document.  How do I get the references and dates to show in the document?

You can “format Bibliography” and choose a style you recognize as in text citation and bibliography listing that you want.  You may have to view other styles via the browse button.  If you want some examples you can go to this other thread for a list of other styles you could download.
