Citation

Hi everyone, I am writing a document using Chicago Manual of Style, 14th ed. and the citation in text should be as fallow:

-when two authors, cite both then the year;

-when three or more, cite the first then “et al., year”.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks :smiley_cat:

The current version of the Chicago Manual of Style is the “16th” (which supersedes the 14th). EndNote’s output style for Chicago 16th follows the in-text citation format shown in your message. So, just select the reference(s) and insert them into your document. If you’re unfamiliar with using Endnote, refer to the Cite While You Write in Microsoft Word: An EndNote Class Recording  training video.
