Combining a within-sentence in-text citation with an adjacent fact, where both are in parentheses

I have to use a reference style that includes in-text citations in parentheses, within the punctuation. Is Endnote able to recognize and combine adjacent parenthetical expressions where one is a citation and the other is not? 

For example: “…(n=100) (Jones 2010).” to "(n=100; Jones 2010).
