Convert Endnote citations templates to hyperlinks

I want to post large amounts of text from a Word Document onto different pages of a website such that the citations (Author, Year) become hyperlinks to the reference via the DOI. Has anyone else tried this? Any ideas?

I created a new output style called Hyperlink (Edit/Output Styles/New Style)

I wrote a citations template: (Author, Year)

I updated the citations in the document. used convert citations to plain text, deleted the references at the end, replaced all {^p} with {
^p
}, saved the document and then copied the appropriate sections to web pages.

There are many more details for incorporating URL when available.

Anyone else tried similar? Is there a better way? Any ideas, comments?
