I am almost running crazy on X4 CWYW with Office 2010 (64-bit).
After having fixed the bug about missing Endnote Tab in Word (almost once a week) I updated my X4 programm on the company homepage. The result is, that I (Administrator rights) have no rights to run the CWYW software and to connect to Endnote any longer?
Ans Ideas how I can fix this problems? Thanks for help
Make sure you have EndNote X4 updated to X4.0.2 installed. To check this, click on the Help menu in EndNote and select About EndNote X4. If EndNote is updated, it should read EndNote X4.0.2 (Bld. 5149). If it is not updated to X4.0.2, click on the Help menu again and select EndNote Program Updates. Go through the process of installing the updates for EndNote. If the tools are still missing in Word 2010, close all running programs and launch the Control Panel. Open the Programs and Features (Windows Vista/7) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) Control Panel depending on your version of Windows and Repair the EndNote X4 installation. didn´t change anything. Update was complete and correct. Repaired X4, still no administrative rights to use CWYW.
