Editing Output Styles in EndNote does not edit footnotes in Word2008

Hi,

I’m using Word 2008 on my MacBook together with EndNote X4. My plan was it to cite in footnotes. Unfortunately, they are always in the format:

Author (Year). Title. City, Publisher.

The format I need is:

Author (Year); Pages cited.

I have already edited the Output Styles, but nothing has changed at all (when inserting the citation into Word2008)

Can anybody give me some advise please? I’m quite frustrated!!

I am not entirely sure where styles are saved in the Mac version of endnote, but I would ensure that the edited style has a different name and then to reformat the bibliography, changing to that new style.
