I couldn’t figure out how to capitalize only the first letter of the author(s)’ name(s) (Harvard style) as they appear in the reference list. This setting is the default for Harvard style in Google Scholar, while in Endnote, the author(s)’ names are fully capitalized.

You need to edit the Harvard Output style you are using – Change the Capitalization from all Uppercase to “normal” (or “as is” if you have other requirements and take the time to edit every record you will use). Then save as the style to new name, and change to that newly named style in your word document. The option to edit output styles in EndNote 20 I believe is still in the edit menu, in 21 it is in the tools menu.
