Hey,
Hope I’ve filed this post in the correct forum.
My EndNote x7 crashes when I click on the email PDF icon and when I click on email reference on the right click drop down menu.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
GP

I may be having the same problem as you. Installed Endnote x7 on a trial basis (had been using 6) and all hell broke loose. My computer crashed at least 7 times yesterday, blue screens, when I was using Endnote 7.
Next, in between crashes, I tried to update my ATI video card hardware drivers, hoping that would fix it. Couldn’t even get into windows at that point.
Next, did a system restore to a week ago. I just ended up with a black screen and view of the cursor up. Left it up all night, nothing improved.
Finally did a system restore to two weeks ago, and so far I’ve been able to use the computer. No blue screens.
Far as I can tell this all started with Endnote 7 for some reason.
And now I have a new problem with Endnote. I can only see 10 citations in the database for some reason! Even when I list “show all”. This has never happened to me.
I thought that the crashes might have messed up the small database of 133 cites I was working on, so I tried to recover it. Didn’t help, I’ve still only able to see 10 cites at a time in any category no matter what.
What on earth is going on?
For what it’s worth, these are a few of the error codes associated with the blue screen crashing of my computer when I used Endnote.

And as a followup, I don’t have any problem with Endnote, 6 other than occasional hanging. My problem is 7 and my pc won’t let me install the trial version event though I only used it a few days. Thanks anyway.
