EndNote crashing as soon as it opens

This started after I tried importing a batch of PDF references from a folder, I suspect it may be due to a bad PDF.

I got the following error message:

“EndNote X7.0.2 (Blb 7390 has stopped working. A problem cased the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program”

This message now pops up as soon as I reopen EN, before my library fully loads up, leaving me no time to take any corrective action… What would be the easiest way to get around this issue?

In case this is useful to anyone, I was able to resolve this by going into the EN .data folder and deleting references edited today.
