Hi 

i am using endnote x7 the mac version.  i have been trying to edit the in text citation by editing the output style but its not changing. the citation looks like: ‘‘Smith, Richard, et al. (2007) suggest that…’’ and what i want to do is to list all authors not just two.

surprisingly in the reference list it is displayed as Smith et al (2007) only.

how can i change this please i have tried many times to edit the output style APA 6th, but the citation does not change in MS word.

If you edit the output syle - then you should save it to a new name, then you need to change the output style you are using to the new name in the word document endnote format bibliography options.
