This feature was not in previous versions of Endnote. I know this because I have used every version of Endnote, since Endnote 2. When I do a search of PubMed, Endnote automatically adds all entries that I search for into my Endnote library, even when I close and open my library. As a result, I have 2000 entries that I don’t need or want. Then I have to remove them manually. That is quite a hassle. There should be a way to clear the search entries from an online search that have not been integrated into the library. Also, search entries that have not been integrated into an Endnote library should not be saved.
