EndNote X4.0.2 update on Mac: A problem after successful installation

Hi all,

The machine: MacBook Air

OS: Snow Leopard

EndNote: X4.0.2, Bld 7031

The problem:

1. Word (2008) keep crashing. And if not 2. EndNote keeps trying to resolve citations again and again.

I wish I did not install this update as I am not able to do my work anymore using Endnote.

Please could you help me to find a solution here.

If there is not solution, will the update uninstallation solve the problem? And if so, how to uninstall it?
