I am having some trouble getting the preview of certain citations to match the information in the references details. Endnote X8
This seems to be applying specifically to some references where ‘Journal’ was imported as an abbreviated version. I can update the journal name to the full title (no worries) in the reference editing option, but the preview still only shows the original abbreviated journal title (which is then replicated in my documents bibliography). → See example
It will update other fields, just not the Journal title.
I can’t for the life of me figure out why just Journal title isn’t updating in the preview and hence, the document.
It seems like all of the references this applies to may have been imported from the same website/source and I am trying to avoid having to reimport them if possible
Any suggestions would be wonderful
