Hi all I am trying to sync a “different/new” library to EndNote web. I deleted everything in the online library and emptied the trash. In the desktop I then synced the “new” library of ~1500 records. After thinking about this for a while EndNote removed all but 176 records in both the desktop and online. However none of the items appear in the trash (web or desktop) they are simply gone.
I started again, clearing out the web library and leaving it to to sulk for 10 mins but it did the same thing on the second attempt.
I am using ENX9 in a Microsoft 365 environment.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
I would review this advice on resetting a new synched library.
