Hi. Can anyone explain why some footnotes don’t show the page number I have entered? Is it because they finish with a URL, or maybe because they are the last footnote on the page? Sometimes I can add the page number as a suffix.
Thanks

What output style are you using and are “cited pages” a field in the footnote template? Only sometimes the suffix works? that should always work.
I’m using Oxford style, and I am entering the page number in the field but it doesn’t show in the final footnote - this is only for some references. Usually, they appear, no problem. As I said, adding a suffix works.
Which oxford style? – and in one I looked at, some ref type templates include the “cited pages” field, and some don’t. The suffix is a nice quick fix if the correct position of the cited pages is at the end.

Can you either: 1) attach the Endnote output style file, or 2) provide the file name of the Endnote output style file?
The style is called uwa_oxford_style_2011, which relates to my uni, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the style, given that it works 90% of the time. I think it has to do with the position of the footnote at the bottom of the page, or something related to having a url at the end of the reference.
but if we can play with the style, we can see what you are seeing.
You see, we can’t access your style. You need to choose file in the box below a reply, and attach it.
