Forced to toggle after adding a new citation


I am using Endnote 8.02 and Word 2007.  Everything loaded up properly and I was able to CWYW the first time using the programs together.  However, reopening the programs today, inserting a citation causes all the previous citations to change formating and so I have to “Select All” and “Toggle Field Codes” to get my document back to order.  How do I fix this?
