The formatted reference in the bibliography in my Pages document appears differently than it shows in my Endnote preview pane. I need my journal names abbreviated and italicized, which corresponds to the Style File and displays correctly in Endnote. However, the title of the article is italicized and the journal name remains unabbreviated and not italicized. I’m not even sure where to begin troubleshooting that!
I have figured out the answer to this question, so I thought I’d post it for the sake of completeness.
All that’s required is to select (in Pages) Edit -> Endnote Citations ->MyStyle (i.e., the proper style format).
Seems so simple now that I know how to do it!
Yes, I don’t use Papers, so I was hesitant to respond.
It is important to always set the output style in the word processing program, – not in the Endnote program. That is so you can work on more than one document to more than one publisher, at a time!
