Hi Leanne
I’m having some trouble with both Turabian 8 and 9. Let me produce some screenshots to show you the problem and the settings. There’s no comma after the first name, and the second name onwards goes to the next line.

I had to chuckle that you addressed this to me! I am not a footnote afficianado though.
Turbian 9th footnote output style, unedited?
Is it just this one, or any book? Is it just books or journals too? If it is specific to that record, did you try to recreate the record from scratch --as I would guess there is a funny character at the end of Minirth line? Delete that name entirely and retype it in Endnote (did you copy and paste them?) I tried to put a line break in instead of a normal return, but that didn’t replicate your issue. If it affects many citations, then I would first try a different footnote style, or even an author date style to see if it is the output style or the record entries?
I recommend always entering the authors as surname (comma) firstname as complex names can be difficult for endnote to parse (although none of these names are complex).
I created the record in my library, and got this as the bibliography and footnote
I entered the authors as you did, and that didn’t produce your output, which is why I think there is a corrupt or funny character causing it.
