How to add documents?

I have joined several documents to form one long document.  Each has its own Endnote list of references.  They are showing up as 3 separate lists, but I want to merge them into one list.  Any ideas on how I can do this, please?

Typically, one would just click the Update Citations and Bibliography command. If this does not resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Make a backup copy of the document.

  2. Click the following command:

Word 2007/2010/2013: Go to the EndNote tab and choose the “Convert Citations and Bibliography > Convert to Unformatted Citations” command.   
Word 2008/2011: Go to the Tools Menu and select “EndNote > Convert to Unformatted Citations” command.

  1. Click the Update Citations and Bibliography command.
