Importing records downloaded from OVID

I have been sent a file of records downloaded from various databases on the OVID platform. All files are .txt but I cannot import them into endnote 5x. I am using macbook 10.7. Has anyone any suggestions?

can you paste an example of the text in the file to your message?  How were they download them, as RIS?
