Multi cites on refresh

I hope someone can help me here…I have just bought X3 and am getting multiple citations, actually every time I refresh the bibliography I get another instance of all my citations which is most annoying…any idea why?

i.e. (Smith, 2009)(Smith, 2009)(Smith, 2009)(Smith, 2009)(Smith, 2009)   every refresh appends the cite…

Which OS (Mac or Win) and version?

Also, which word processor and version?

Did you try unformat, and make sure in-text temporary citation ( enclosed by curly brackets { } ) is not recurring?
