Since upgrading to EndnoteX3 I’ve noticed every time I import a PubMed reference into a library Endnote puts at least 2, sometimes 3, copies of the citation. Is there any way to change this?
If you are using the integrated mode you need to change your preferences, duplicates to tick a box that will not download duplicates.
I for one, NEVER use the integrated mode anyway, because it imports things I don’t necessarily want because I am pretty poor at designing search parameters. -I use the online mode. BUT
If you are copy and pasting from the online mode (or right clicking and copy to function), there is no facility apart from creating a temporary library and then importing it in, with discard duplicates.
