newly added output style not visible in Word

Hello,

I’ve just downloaded an output style and have added it to my Endnote library but I cannot use it  (as it does not appear as an option) in Word. I went through all the ‘installation steps’ that should have been done (making the modifications in control panel, etc.) but the newly added style just would not appear in Word.

What (else) needs to be done to get this fixed?

Have you selected the “show more styles” option at the top of the existing list?

  1. Were both EndNote and MS Word closed before adding the new output style?
  2. Also note that installation instructions may vary depending upon the EndNote version and computer operating system but typically involves copying the output style to your Styles folder, which is typically located at Program Files\EndNote X7\Styles , or to your personal Styles folder (see Folder Locations Preferences).
