No citation numbers in endnote

Hi,

I am using endnote x5 for mac os x

I would like to have no numbers as my citations in the text i.e. Simpson et al 2005, Thornton et al NOT [1][2]

Also, the bibliography to be an alphabetical list of the references used with no numbers.

Is that possible?

You would just want to choose something like the Author, Year citation output style, or Cell rather than a numbered output style.  this is what Endnote is designed for?  I suggest you might want to watch this youtube video – around 4:20m or so.  Pick the Author-Year style as a first stop.
