No direct import from the internet

Hi all,

I have had installed version EN X3 on my Mac and everything worked fine.

Now I installed X4 and still had X3. When I wanted to import the citations, it automatically imported them into X3. Now I have deleted X3 (just moved it to the trashcan), but now the import doesn’t work at all :frowning:

there’s just an error-message, that it failed.

What do I need to do?

The browser is configured to open the exported references using a specific application, in your case EndNote X3.  If you are using Firefox you would go to “Firefox > Preferences” and cick on the Applications tab.  Go through the list and change any Content Type set to open with EndNote X3 to open with X4.
