not formatting properly or inserting a reference

Hi,

I am using myendnoteweb.com to cite onto microsoft word on my Macbook. It was working fine up until a couple of days ago…

I make up my references and save, then in my word document i have download the cite while you write plugin and select ‘insert citation’. I find the one i need and insert it but it is not formatting properly, it is looking like this:

{Moore, 2012, Why you should keep a reflective journal during placement}

instead of this:

(Moore, 2012)

in addition to this, it is not inserting the full reference at the bottom of my work? 

please help!!

Can you show a screen shot of the Word program with the Endnote ribbon showing?  I suspect you don’t have the correct output style selected there.
