I am trying to include powerpoint presentations from conferences that do not appear in the conference proceedings in my endnote library and was wondering how to categorizing them and how others have formatted this source type.
Thank you,
Monica

Hello Monica,
Since you will more than likely have to cite these presentations in the same way you would cite an unpublished abstract from a conference, you should use the “Conference Paper”. reference type. This reference type is for abstracts presented at conferences that are not published in the actual “Proceedings”.
This way you can make sure all of the necessary fields are available when you format the reference in your bibliography. And if you have a ocpy of the power point presentation you can link it to the reference with the “file attachments” button.
