I have a documents that uses a the numbered style for the citations within the document. However, Endnote does not start with [1] on the first page because I also used citations in annotations for figures. EndNote starts with number [1] under a figure on the second page. Does anyone has a suggestion how to solve this problem?
The trick is to use a frame instead of a textbox. Here is the simplest way to insert a frame in Word 2010/2013.
Alternatives include using a Table rather than a textbox.
