I am running Procite under the Parallels Windows emulator on a Mac. It works reasonably well, but when I attempt to query an online db it always tells me that no records are found–even tho I know that records are available. The log seems to indicate that the query went thru fine–I don’t see any error messages. The configuration is the same I’ve used on Windows machines for years. Any idea what might be going on, or where to look for help? Thanks–marc.
I finally figured this out–and the solution was so obvious that I’m surprised it took me this long. Windows’ firewall was blocking Procite from making the queries to the dbs (but I never received any message that the firewall was blocking anything). Now that I’ve put an exception in for Procite, it works fine.
