PubMed (NLM) Online Search Mode not working

Hi! I really need help with this.

I’m still using MacOS Sierra, and with EndNote X7.8 on mac.

Suddenly the PubMed (NLM) online search Mode refuses to work. I tis unable to contact the online database. 

My internet connection is working. 

I have tried:

  1. Resetting preferences to default (except sync, reference etc)

  2. I have uninstalled and re-installed the program

  3. I have downloaded the latest available connection and filter for PubMed

Please advise why this is still not working?
