Resetting Endnote web after disc failure

I have had a hard drive failure which has meant that my Endnote desktop file has been re-loaded from a back-up hard drive.

Now when I sync desktop to web I end up with no references on either.

Desk top file appears stable provided that I disable sync with web.

Currently, since the first sync attempt, web has zero references.

Any ideas how to reset web so I can stably transfer existing references from desktop to web?

Do I need to delete existing web account and start fresh?
