Short title issue: different authors, same book

Hi All,
So, collation of essays by various authors in a same book, cited consecutively.
Is there a way to avoid the title of an already-cited book in consecutive citations which, however, refer to essays by different authors?
Example:

[1] See Elizabeth Kieven, “Prefazione,” in La forma del pensiero. Filippo Juvarra. La costruzione del ricordo attraverso la celebrazione della memoria, ed. Cristina Ruggero and Tiziana Caserta, (Roma: Campisano Editore, 2008): 9, but also Cristina Ruggero and Tiziana Caserta, “Introduzione,” in La forma del pensiero. Filippo Juvarra. La costruzione del ricordo attraverso la celebrazione della memoria, ed. Cristina Ruggero and Tiziana Caserta, (Roma: Campisano Editore, 2008): 13

Is there a way to avoid the book La forma del pensiero to re-appear entirely, with the name of the editor, place it’s been published, etc.? I’d also want to avoid the Ibid to appear in place of the book title. Ideally, I’d like to have:
Elizabeth Kieven, “Prefazione,” in La forma del pensiero [so, the short title]: 9, but also Cristina Ruggero and Tiziana Caserta, “Introduzione,” in La forma del pensiero [again, short title]: 13

Thanks!

I don’t think so, as the records are not internally linked, so Endnote doesn’t know they are the same source. It isn’t a relational database in that sense.

I have just realized that Endnote does define “source” criteria in the footnote subsequent citations settings, so you should be able to get footnotes to treat similar sources without repeating it all, but not sure can be applied in anyway to reference list.

Really? How does it work? Could you please be so kind as to show what you mean with screenshots?
Thank you ever so much and happy new year!
