Many PDFs, especially books in the forms of PDF, include metadata for the table of contents. In any full-fledged PDF viewer like Apple’s Preview and Adobe Acrobat Reader, the table of content is available on a sidebar and clickable. The PDF viewer in EndNote does not have this feature. I think this feature needs to be included in order to help users navigate and read long PDF documents within EndNote.
And please, don’t put this function only in EndNote X7. I really should be part of your next smaller update for EndNote X6.0.3 or EndNote X6.0.4. In other words, I don’t think users should have to pay again in order to get this feature.
