the same library that can be open in WIndows is unable to open in Mac OS X

I have a library that can be open in WIndows but unable to open in Mac OS X.

The error message is: The document “XXX.enl” could not be opend.

I tried the recovery tool but unable to recover the library in Mac OS X.

May I ask why I have this error and how to fix it?
