Adding references to existing word document created with endnote

I have a word document that has references and in text citations using CWYW as well as the export bibliography tool, I did not create the document so I do not have the original library of references. the references appear in order of appearance and are cited with numbers in-text those numbers correspond to the numbered references list at the end of the document.

I want to add references that appear in the middle of the document but I do not want to change the order of in-text citations (i want reference 9 to still be reference 9 but if I add a new reference after 9 say number 10 the existing number 10 will now benumber 11 and the in text citation that refers to number 10 should change to number 11 because i added a new citationAurash: “I have a word document that has references and in text citations using CWYW as well as the export bibliography tool” Aurash: “I did not create the document so I do not have the original library of references” Aurash: “the references appear in order of appearance and are cited with numbers in-text those numbers correspond to the numbered references list at the end of the document” Aurash: “I want to add references that appear in the middle of the document but I do not want to change the order of in-text citations (i want reference 9 to still be reference 9 but if I add a new reference after 9 say number 10 the existing number 10 will now be” number 11 and the in text citation that refers to number 10 should change to number 11 because i added a new citation

If I understand correctly, and the CWYW inserted Endnote fields are still in the document,  this should be no problem, as the necessary information is embedded in those fields, and will be renumbered automatically.  You just need to be sure you have the correct Endnote output style on the computer you are using now.  You can also collect the references from the “travelling library” for future use.
