I am using EndNote X7.2.1 on Windows 7.
I recently used the “Find Reference Update…” function for the first time.
After completing I can’t sort or search and all smart groups are empty. I download the latest departmental journal publications and need to update update when they are finalised online.
I have tried to copy all to a new file and that worked (obviously with no smart groups) but the problem is the “Added to Library” field is all the current day, I would like to keep the date the references were added.
I though of trasferring the contents to an empty field, but can’t.
Does anyone have a solution to any of the above problems.
I am new here so hope this message conforms to what this group is about.
